Questions and Answers
Mozart, The Wonder Boy presents the musical genius of this child prodigy, the loving family in which he was reared, and the impact he had on the world around him, "Here is a book about the most musical boy that ever lived. Fortunately for us he wrote a great deal of music and this we can hear today even though we can never hear him play it. His music is always lovely and you will surely hear more of it as you grow up Through his music, Mozart will always be to us a wonder man." - Peter W. Dykema-from the original 1941 edition

Q:
Which of the 5 music appreciation discs goes with this book? Maybe it is an older version of the book, but the one I have only lists track numbers but not which cd for each song in the book. I bought the music appreciation cds to go along with the Great Musician books, but the cd doesn't have a track list. The rest of the Zeezok Great Musician books I have (Bach, Handel, etc) list what cd and track number for each composition, but for some reason, the copy of Mozart the Wonder boy that I have only lists track numbers.

A:
You must have an older printing of the Mozart title. As we reprinted the books used in the Music Appreciation curriculum we added disc numbers and updated the track numbers in the books. Currently the only book used in Music Appreciation Book 1 that has not been updated is Franz Schubert. If you view our Music Appreciation student book. Scroll down to the bottom of the description and you will be able to download our sample pages for the Music Appreciation curriculum. In these sample pages (xiii to xv) we include the disc and track numbers for all of the music included in the biographies.

Q:
Can you please tell me what is the difference between the audio books, the companion CDs and the disc that come with the music appreciation set?

A:
The Companion CDs include all of the music in the composer biographies, plus two coloring pages for each chapter in the book. The Audio Book is a word for word reading of the biography and includes the music included in the book. So if you purchase the Audio Book you do not need the Companion CD (unless you really want the coloring pages included on it).
The Music Appreciation (MA) Music CDs were created specifically for the Music Appreciation curriculum. The MA Music CDs include all of the music on the Companion CDs, plus another 2.5+ hours of professionally recorded music. These MA Music CDs are a critical part of the Music Appreciation program. Even if you purchased the Companion CDs previously you would still need the Music Appreciation Music CDs if you want to use the curriculum.
