After returning victorious from a campaign against the Nubians, resulting in a peace treaty with Ethiopia and great treasure, Pharaoh Seti congratu- lates Moses for his achievement. Rameses, having failed to complete his father’s treasure city, blames the Hebrew slaves for the delay and suggests that Seti put Moses in charge of the city’s completion. Moses gets the construction back on schedule, but learns the circumstances of his birth, his fate, and the fate of Egypt, changing him forever.
