“Millions of individuals making their own decisions in the marketplace will always allocate resources better than any centralized government planning process.” ~ Ronald Reagan
It’s Ronald Reagan’s birthday today! The 40th president of the United States, Ronald Reagan served two terms in office, from 1981-1989. Born in Tampico Illinois, he enjoyed playing football and acting in school plays. Not only did he work as a sports radio announcer, but also acted in 53 films prior to serving as President!
Only 69 days after President Reagan took office in 1981, there was an attempt on his life. He recovered quickly and returned to the presidency. The Discovery Channel named him the “Greatest American”.
