The Junior High Cursive eBook is a downloadable pdf file of handwriting
practice pages in a font similar to the D'N--lian writing style. The junior high level of Presidential Penmanship starts with shorter
presidential quotes progressing to paragraph length passages near the
end of the year. Selections include sections from the Declaration of
Independence, Lincoln's First and Second Inaugural Addresses, the
Gettysburg Address, and Reagan's First and Second Inaugural
Addresses-great for memorization and reflection as well as handwriting
practice. Following are some quotes used in the junior high program.
I
wish to preach, not the doctrine of ignoble ease, but the doctrine of
the strenuous life. ~Theodore Roosevelt If we take the route of the
permanent handout, the American character will itself be impoverished.
~Richard Nixon Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to
test a man's character, give him power. ~Abraham Lincoln Posterity: you
will never know how much it has cost my generation to preserve your
freedom. I hope you will make good use of it. ~John Quincy Adams The
Constitution is a mere thing of wax in the hands of the judiciary,
which they may twist and shape into any form they please. ~Thomas
Jefferson
